NAME         top

       dircolors - color setup for ls

SYNOPSIS         top

       dircolors [OPTION]... [FILE]

DESCRIPTION         top

       Output commands to set the LS_COLORS environment variable.

   Determine format of output:
       ]8;;https://www.gnu.org/software/coreutils/manual/coreutils.html#dircolors-b\-b, --sh, --bourne-shell]8;;\
              output Bourne shell code to set LS_COLORS

       ]8;;https://www.gnu.org/software/coreutils/manual/coreutils.html#dircolors-c\-c, --csh, --c-shell]8;;\
              output C shell code to set LS_COLORS

       ]8;;https://www.gnu.org/software/coreutils/manual/coreutils.html#dircolors-p\-p, --print-database]8;;\
              output defaults

       ]8;;https://www.gnu.org/software/coreutils/manual/coreutils.html#dircolors--print-ls-colors\--print-ls-colors]8;;\
              output fully escaped colors for display

       ]8;;https://www.gnu.org/software/coreutils/dircolors#dircolors--help\--help]8;;\ display this help and exit

       ]8;;https://www.gnu.org/software/coreutils/dircolors#dircolors--version\--version]8;;\
              output version information and exit

       If FILE is specified, read it to determine which colors to use for
       which file types and extensions.  Otherwise, a precompiled
       database is used.  For details on the format of these files, run
       'dircolors --print-database'.
