NAME         top

       mkdir - make directories

SYNOPSIS         top

       mkdir [OPTION]... DIRECTORY...

DESCRIPTION         top

       Create the DIRECTORY(ies), if they do not already exist.

       Mandatory arguments to long options are mandatory for short
       options too.

       ]8;;https://www.gnu.org/software/coreutils/manual/coreutils.html#mkdir-m\-m, --mode=MODE]8;;\
              set file mode (as in chmod), not a=rwx - umask

       ]8;;https://www.gnu.org/software/coreutils/manual/coreutils.html#mkdir-p\-p, --parents]8;;\
              no error if existing, make parent directories as needed,
              with their file modes unaffected by any -m option

       ]8;;https://www.gnu.org/software/coreutils/manual/coreutils.html#mkdir-v\-v, --verbose]8;;\
              print a message for each created directory

       ]8;;https://www.gnu.org/software/coreutils/manual/coreutils.html#mkdir-Z\-Z]8;;\     set SELinux security context of each created directory to
              the default type

       ]8;;https://www.gnu.org/software/coreutils/manual/coreutils.html#mkdir--context\--context[=CTX]]8;;\
              like -Z, or if CTX is specified then set the SELinux or
              SMACK security context to CTX

       ]8;;https://www.gnu.org/software/coreutils/mkdir#mkdir--help\--help]8;;\ display this help and exit

       ]8;;https://www.gnu.org/software/coreutils/mkdir#mkdir--version\--version]8;;\
              output version information and exit
